Filmmakers Hub respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, store, and protect information when you use our website, profiles, community features, projects, workspaces, direct messages, notifications, uploaded files, and AI-assisted tools.
For this policy, Filmmakers Hub, we, us, and our mean the Filmmakers Hub brand operated by Mohamed Raafat. You means any visitor, member, creator, filmmaker, collaborator, or account holder using Filmmakers Hub.
Information we collect
- Account details such as name, email address, username, profile photo, bio, location, role, plan, and login credentials.
- Profile and portfolio content such as credits, skills, projects, posts, comments, media links, and public creator information.
- Community activity such as posts, replies, follows, saved items, reports, and moderation signals.
- Collaboration data such as project details, workspace membership, invitations, direct messages, notifications, scripts, PDFs, text files, Word documents, and production materials you choose to upload.
- Support messages, feedback, bug reports, contact form submissions, and AI chat inputs or outputs when you use AI-assisted features.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referring URLs, timestamps, cookies, session data, Google Analytics data, and Vercel Analytics data.
How we use information
- Create, secure, and manage user accounts.
- Display profiles, portfolios, projects, posts, creator activity, and collaboration workspaces.
- Enable community features, follows, notifications, direct messages, file uploads, and project tools.
- Provide AI-assisted features through OpenAI and Anthropic when you choose to use them.
- Prevent spam, fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and security incidents.
- Improve performance, fix bugs, understand usage, and respond to support or legal requests.
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers that help operate, analyze, secure, and improve Filmmakers Hub, including Supabase, Vercel, Cloudflare, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Analytics, and Vercel Analytics.
During beta, payments are not available on Filmmakers Hub. When payment features launch, we plan to use Sopapay for payment-related services and Sopapay cybersecurity systems for transaction safety, fraud prevention, and related account protection features.
Terms Of Service
By using Filmmakers Hub, you agree to these Terms. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account or use Filmmakers Hub.
You are responsible for your account activity, login security, uploaded files, direct messages, public posts, project materials, and collaboration activity. You must have rights and permissions for any scripts, PDFs, text files, Word documents, reels, images, music, names, likenesses, trademarks, or production materials you upload or share.
You own your content. By posting, uploading, messaging, or sharing content on Filmmakers Hub, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, process, transmit, and distribute that content only as needed to operate, improve, protect, and promote Filmmakers Hub.
Prohibited conduct
- Harassment, hate, threats, impersonation, targeted abuse, or deceptive production listings.
- Uploading illegal, infringing, malicious, private, or harmful content.
- Sharing confidential scripts, private contracts, personal data, or third-party copyrighted files without permission.
- Scraping, spamming, phishing, reverse engineering, overloading, or attacking Filmmakers Hub.
- Using AI features to generate unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, or unsafe content.
Filmmakers Hub helps filmmakers discover, connect, and collaborate. We are not responsible for user agreements, production deals, hiring decisions, payment disputes, copyright ownership disputes, or off-platform conduct between users. Use written contracts for paid work, rights transfers, credits, releases, and production responsibilities.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Egypt will handle disputes unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Community Guidelines
Filmmakers Hub is for professional, creative, and respectful film collaboration. Portfolio sharing, project discovery, casting, crew discussions, constructive feedback, and professional networking are allowed.
Harassment, scams, fake productions, fake credits, non-consensual sharing of private materials, copyright infringement, spam, scraping, bot activity, exploitation, and content that encourages illegal activity or physical harm are not allowed.
We may remove content, limit visibility, warn users, suspend accounts, or report serious abuse.
Copyright And DMCA
If you believe content on Filmmakers Hub infringes your copyright, email filmmakershub@outlook.com with your name, contact information, identification of the copyrighted work, URL or description of the infringing content, a good-faith statement that use is unauthorized, a statement that your information is accurate, and your physical or electronic signature.
We may remove content and terminate repeat infringers where appropriate.
Account Deletion
You may request account deletion by emailing filmmakershub@outlook.comfrom the email address connected to your account. We may verify your identity before deleting account data.
Some information may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, legal records, abuse-prevention systems, or content already shared with other users.
